We will spend three hours visiting four to five locations, some distance away from the overly touristic regions. These locations include typical Portuguese eateries, a wine bar, and a quaint food store known as a "mercearia." We want to take you where the locals go since they know best! You'll be able to witness locals from "Lisboa" enjoying authentic Pestiscos, or tapas, and by the end of the journey, you'll feel like one of us. We consider ourselves fortunate to have known these wonderful folks, and we'd like you to get to know them too! All of the listed sites are family-owned businesses! We've been sampling a plethora of bars and restaurants, foods, and beverages, and we can't wait to introduce you to the best specialties and pair wines from the north and south with the things that make Portugal one of the world's best food destinations.
